Local Craft & Produce Show 2016
Guisborough Town Council held the annual Local Craft and Produce Show in Sunnyfield House on Saturday 13th August.
The show attracted a good variety of exhibits and the standard was excellent throughout all of the sections.
The Vice Chairman, Councillor Dennis Teasdale, thanked all of the exhibitors, organising team and volunteers for making the show a success.
An auction of produce also took place which raised £104 for the Town Mayor's nominated charities – Guisborough Museum and Friends of Guisborough Cemetery.
Section Winners and Master Trophies were awarded to the following exhibitors:
Councillor Mrs Alma Thrower and Councillor Dennis Teasdale have been elected Chairman and Vice Chairman of Guisborough Town Council for the year 2016 - 17.
Councillor Mrs Thrower is also the Guisborough Town Mayor for 2016 - 17.
Guisborough Town Council has grant funding available from the grants / donations budget. Grants are open to charities and community groups that meet in Guisborough Parish.

Guisborough Town Council serves Guisborough and the villages of Upleatham, Dunsdale, Mount Pleasant and Newton-under-Roseberry. The town is the Ancient Capital of Cleveland and is also a gateway to the picturesque North York Moors National Park.
The Town Council owns and maintains Bakehouse Square which is a small park just off Westgate. The Park also contains the Bakehouse Square Mural depicting the town's history.
