Following national guidelines on social distancing and avoiding unnecessary contact, Guisborough Town Council has announced a range of measures designed to help people stay safe and reduce the pressure on the NHS.
With effect from midnight on Wednesday 18th March 2020:-
Sunnyfield House will be closed to the public until further notice.
All public meetings of councillors have been cancelled until further notice.
Council staff will endeavour to continue working to facilitate necessary Council business, whilst adhering to government guidelines and may work from home where appropriate.
The Annual Parish Assembly, scheduled to take place on Monday 23rd March has been postponed until later in the Year.

The Annual Guisborough Town Council Best Dressed Window competition saw a high standard of entries this year with Daisy Bloom & Oh Abigail on Chaloner Street with their Swan Lake theme being judged as the Best Dressed Window by Guisborough Town Council Vice-Chair, Cllr Mrs Hazel Meynell and Guisborough Citizen of the Year, Heather Barker.
Guisborough Town Council held its annual Local Craft and Produce Show in Sunnyfield House on Saturday 10th August.
The show attracted a good variety of exhibits and the standard was excellent throughout all of the sections.
