Guisborough Town Council has decided that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has caused the cancellation of both the Annual Parish Assembly in March and the Annual Civic Evening in September, and also recognising the difficulties some community groups may have in submitting grant applications by the usual deadline of 31st May, the Grant Award programme will be suspended for the 2020/2021 financial year.
Guisborough Town Council does, however, still have funding available from the grants and donations budget for 2020/21 which is open to registered charities and community groups that meet within the Guisborough Parish.
Donation requests should be submitted electronically to the above e-mail address by 30th September 2020. All donation requests received by this date will be considered at the earliest opportunity after 30th September 2020 and payments for any agreed donations will be made by BACS payment only, so please ensure that you enclose your organisation’s bank details (sort code and account number) along with your application.
If any budget remains after the initial allocation of funds, further donation requests will be considered on merit, as and when received, during the remainder of the financial year.
