Councillor Pandora Kilby

Councillor Mrs Pandora Kilby passed away suddenly on Thursday 16th September 2021.

Councillor Mrs Kilby was first elected onto Guisborough Town Council in 1983 and was a dedicated Town Councillor across a period of 22 years.  The lovely lady was known by many simply as ‘Pandy’, having met a vast amount of people over her years working hard and serving the community she loved being part of.

Among many of Councillor Mrs Kilby’s achievements she was also a leading member of Guisborough in Bloom, a trustee of the Friends of Guisborough Forest and Walkway group, a member of Friends of King George V playing fields group, a member of the Guisborough litter picking group and previously a governor for both Park Lane Primary and Chaloner  Primary schools.

Councillor Mrs Kilby leaves three children, four grandchildren and her devoted husband of 53 years, Mike.

She will be sorely missed by the community she served, Guisborough Town Councillors and staff alike.
